Description

This is a piece I'll hopefully be using in my illustration portfolio. The forest was drawn from a photograph taken in a botanical garden, although I don't remember which one. Done in oil pastel and charcoal.

Wow.

The details are absolutely amazing. I really like how it has an "old-timey" storybook feel to it--in the tradition of books I grew up with, where you know it's drawn/painted/etc by hand... really well done :)
