My first submission in 4 years! This was an assignment for my drawing class. It was a still life that was supposed to represent ourselves; I put in a tea pot, chalk pastels and paintbrush, sheet music, and a butterfly. Done in graphite. Hope you like it!

PS I really enjoy the amount of precision and detail that was put into it--just looked at the sheet music again, and the little details on the tea-pot... they really add to the piece. :)

This is really lovely. :) It's complicated without seeming cluttered, and I LOVE self-portraits that don't involve actual portrayal of the physical self.
